Marilyn is Assistant Manager for Streetreach in Doncaster. Marilyn works with adults and young people involved in prostitution and sexual exploitation. Marilyn also has specific responsibilities for working with young people who are being sexually exploited and is a member of the multi agency Sexual Exploitation Forum.

Julie Harris is currently an Assistant Director for Research and Influencing with Barnardo's. She leads on the organisation's research and policy work re: child sexual exploitation and trafficking and has a
particular interest in the links between research and practice and evidencing outcomes in this area.

Ann has been a social worker since 1977 and became Child Protection Co-ordinator in 1996 and began to develop the Sheffield Sexual Exploitation Service from 1997.
She is currently Manager of Sheffield SCB Sexual Exploitation Service where she chairs all strategy meetings and reviews on young people who are at risk of, or being sexually exploited.

Nasima has worked for the NSPCC for 7 years, initially employed to develop the sexual exploitation service in East London.
She now is an Assistant Director for Fresh Start (centre for action on sexual abuse) and the London Children's Refuge. Nasima is a Social Worker, having worked in local authorities' child protection teams prior to her arrival at the NSPCC. She has a specific interests in policy and practice around sexual exploitation and has co-written in this area.

Jenny trained as a teacher and has worked as a youth and community worker with young people. She has carried out action research into young people and sexual exploitation in partnership with children's charities and runs creative writing projects with sexually exploited young people.
She is currently chair of the NWG and is Professor of Young People and Public Policy at the University of Bedfordshire.

Paula is Senior Lecturer in Sociology/Criminology at London Metropolitan University. Paula has recently completed a temporary secondment to Barnardos working on a national evaluation of their Sexual Exploitation Services. Paula worked closely with Barnardos for several years, developing tools for evaluating sevices for sexually exploited young people and in supporting projects to implement them. Paula has published research and developed training on young people and sexual exploitation and has a particular interest in action reserach and evaluation of service delivery. Sheila Taylor
Sheila is the NWG Secretary and is Chief Executive of Safe and Sound Derby. Sheila has extensive experience of working in the voluntary sector with sexually exploited children, young people and adults. She works at both a local and national level to advance the need of sexually exploited young people's needs, being committed to the development of integrated approaches to meet the young people's health and social care needs. Sheila is currently vice chair of the NWG.
